Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy

Looks like Crash fans really wanted the return of their favorite bandicoot- not only did the game end up topping physical and digital charts for the month of June worldwide, it sounds like Crash Bandicoot N.Sane Trilogy, the remaster of the PS1 era Crash games that launched on the PS4 in late June, also topped download charts on PSN for the month of July. Most impressive (though to be fair, not many major new games launched on PS4 in July as well).

The charts apart from that seem to be influenced more by the major PSN sales through June than anything else- so #2 was Shadow of Mordor: Game of the Year Edition, #3 was God of War 3 Remastered, with the next three spots being taken by some ever green games- Friday The 13th, Rocket League, and Grand Theft Auto V.

On the PSVR front, Superhot VR seems to have done very well for itself, topping the charts as well. The month of August promises some new major releases for PS4, so it will be interesting tok see how the charts look like early next month.
