INGAME STUDIOS’ Crime Boss: Rockay City is out on March 28th for PC via the Epic Games Store, but the console versions aren’t too far behind. Digital Bros Group, the parent company of publisher 505 Games, have confirmed that it will release in June 2023 for Xbox Series X/S and PS5.

In its financial report for the period ending December 31st, 2022 (covering the first half of the fiscal year 2022-2023), the company revealed that the PC version is exclusive to the Epic Games Store till June 2024. The co-op heist shooter also constitutes “one of the largest investments made by the Group through an internal studio” and allows “recurring additional content production.”

It’s expecting “recurring revenue for multiple years to come,” which could mean significant post-launch support. The development team has yet to discuss its plans, so stay tuned for further details.

Though a co-op shooter focusing on heists and shootouts, Crime Boss: Rockay City has a story campaign focusing on Travis Baker (played by Michael Madsen) as he looks to become the king of Rockay City. Multiplayer fans can partake in quick co-op missions with Crime Time or in-depth mission chains with their own stories. Head here for more details.
