Pearl Abyss has announced the latest patch for Crimson Desert, and this one’s focused on polishing the base game ahead of Charting the Unknown’s release.
Patch 2.03.00 brings a long list of improvements and fixes to the game. There’s even more incentive to embark on a new journey, for starters, and we’ve spoken at length about why that’s a good idea, although it might be daunting given Pywel’s size. There’s also the new Precise Movement for the game’s Photo Mode, which should be useful when you’re trying to document your memories of a land with so many of them.
Other changes address minor issues such as contestants in horse races having an unfair advantage, and fixes to glitched Dispatch missions, among other things. There are also a few changes to combat, UI, controls, graphics, and localization, all of which address areas that make your time in Pywel more enjoyable.
Of course, the DLC could turn the dials on that entertainment to a hundred, but this latest patch is still a welcome addition to the game. Charting the Unknown is out on October 15th, so now is a good time to dive in. Head here for more details.
