The Epic Games Store has recently revealed its next weekly free game starting from February 24th up until March 3rd, which is now confirmed to be Cris Tales. This Modus Games-published title will be replacing the currently free-to-download co-op adventure Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons.

Cris Tales is an indie JRPG that’s billed as a love-letter to fans of the genre, all rendered with a distinct and recognizable cartoony art-style. It features an extensive time-spanning story featuring heavy focus on choice and consequence mechanics. The combat is, unsurprisingly, turn-based and the game currently sits at a rating of 74 on Metacritic.

The Epic Games Store has given out a ton of free games during the last year, estimated to be worth over $2,190. It’s fair to say that this strategy has paid in spades, and the Epic Games Store has now garnered an impressive userbase of 194 million and growing.
