Cores are a necessary but rare resource in Cronos: The New Dawn which facilitate special upgrades to The Traveler’s equipment in the Workstation. Finding them is critically important to smooth progression through the storyline.

This guide is a complete chronological listing of all the 37 cores and their locations in Cronos: The New Dawn.

Core #1

In a wrecked dispenser in the Traveler’s Outpost.

Core #2

In a dispenser in the secret area you enter via the crawlspace.

Core #3

In a dispenser in the pharmacy Traveler’s Outpost.

Core #4

In a dispenser in the apartment building Traveler’s Outpost.

Core #5

Collect the Traveler’s Seal Key from the cat in the apartment complex.

In a dispenser in the apartment building Traveler’s Outpost.

Core #6

Collect the Shelter Key from the apartment complex.

Exit the apartment building then go to the playground across the street and interact with the cat.

Post-awakening and encountering the Warden, enter the Traveler’s Outpost and check the dispenser.

Return to the tram after restoring power and open the newly unlocked door to interact with the cat.

In a dispenser in the Steelworks tram yard Traveler’s Outpost.

In the locker room, squeeze through the hole in the wall, then find the dispenser in the bathrooms.

Right after getting the Gravity Boots, take the path to the oddity so you can interact with the cat.

In the newly unlocked door after finding the switchgear, interact with the cat.

Break through the barricaded door before making the gravity jump. Enter the apartment and find the Core atop a table.

After gravity jumping to the next apartment building, notice the boarded up hole in the wall. Break through and interact with the cat.

After gravity jumping to the next apartment building from the sculptor’s home, drop down a ledge then squeeze through the hole in the wall. Move the metal obstruction to reach and activate the oddity and then the Core.

In a dispenser at the next Traveler’s Outpost.

Atop a table in the first Traveler’s Outpost at Unity Hospital.

Enter the operating rooms after getting the Access Card, then interact with the cat.

In Infectious Diseases, use your bolt cutters on the chained door, and find the Core atop a table inside.

After activating the first generator, return to the newly unlocked door. Inside, use your bolt cutters on the chained door, and find the Core in a dispenser.

Enter the room to the right of the Christmas Tree, and find the Core in a dispenser.

Post-defeat of the Station B Terror boss, climb up the ladder and then squeeze between the pipes to the left of the door to find the Core in a dispenser.

At the unpowered door, look right for a chained door. Use your bolt cutters and find the Core in a dispenser within.
