Crossing Souls

Looking an 80s-rific action title with inter-dimensional travel and meddling teens? Fourattic’s Crossing Souls may be your thing, as it releases on PS4, PC and PlayStation Vita. The pixel-art action title follows the adventures of five kids in 1986 California who find a strange stone and travel between two different realms. There’s a government conspiracy involved because of course there is.

Each kid has a different set of skills for fighting and puzzle solving and the fate of the world is unsurprisingly in the balance. Given its setting, there are a ton of awesome 80s references and lingo that should make any retro gamer happy. Even if the main story’s writing isn’t always up to snuff, at least according to early reviews. You can find out more about the game here.

If you pick up Crossing Souls before February 20th on Steam, you can avail of a 20 percent discount on the asking price. What are your thoughts on the game if you’ve already played it? Let us know in the comments.
