Crysis 3 a “spiritual successor” to Crysis 1 – Crytek

Posted By | On 23rd, Apr. 2012

We have good news for those of you who thought Crysis 2 was disappointing when compared to the first game- Crytek’s Cevat Yerli, game director of Crysis 3, says the upcoming threequel is more of a spiritual successor to the first, excellent title than 2011’s Crysis 2.

“Crysis 3 will be more a spiritual successor in gameplay to Crysis 1 instead of Crysis 2,” he said.

According the recent reports, Crysis 3 will probably be set in a post apocalyptic New York- that certainly sounds more like Crysis 2, but in our analysis here, we noted that it looks a lot different.

An extremely tantalizing teaser trailer was also recently released. It gave us nothing. The full gamepay trailer will be out on April 24, so stay tuned.
