Crysis 3 “Sharp Dressed Man” Commercial Spot is Interesting, Odd

Take a funkier walk on the destructive side with this new commercial.

So we’ve already talked about how the action in Crytek’s upcoming Crysis 3 is off the hook on a scale that can only be described as dangerously awesome. However, this newest commercial, set to ZZ Top’s “Sharp Dressed Man” has a different tone.

And by different, we mean funky. And by funky, we mean “Eh?”. The suit’s agility, stealth, power and pure blind luck are highlighted and play up the level of atrocious destruction possible in Crysis 3. But the so-called cocky, shark-jumping swagger? Yeah, not feeling it for a guy in a NanoSuit, especially when it borders dangerously close to cheesy.

Nonetheless, it’s something. And something is far better than nothing when it comes to grabbing eyeballs on TV. Hopefully, it will draw more attention to the gameplay of the product when Crysis 3 is published by EA and released on February 19th in North America for PS3, Xbox 360 and PC (February 22nd for Europe).
