Cyberpunk 2077

Speaking at a financial briefing, CD Projekt RED President Adam Kiciński confirmed that the company won’t be sharing too many details about the eagerly anticipated upcoming CyberPunk 2077 before E3 this year, but also that the game will be showcased at E3 this year.

He confirmed on the rumour that the game will be a cross-gen effort, noting that the next generation of consoles has not officially been announced, and so all he can do is speculate. Nevertheless, he did stress that CD Projekt RED’s technology is very sophisticated, and ready to “interface with” “very powerful” future hardware.

Speaking of support for new hardware, he was also asked about possible support for the Nintendo Switch. Kiciński Noted that CD Projekt RED is currently focused on higher end consoles and PCs with its larger projects, and that they don’t have any Switch projects in the works right now, though he did leave the possibility for futures Switch support open.

CyberPunk 2077 will come out for PS4, Xbox One, and PC… sometime. Hopefully next year.
