So there will be some spoilers for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt in this post- I have warned you beforehand. You might want to close the window now if you don’t want to see them.
In The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, after Geralt finally manages to track down Ciri, she tells him of how she had hidden from the Wild Hunt by hiding in an alternate dimension, an alternate world. When Geralt asks her about that world, she tells him how it is a world where people have metal in their faces, fight from a distance using long metallic scopes, and how they get around in their own personal flying spaceships.
When The Witcher 3 first came out, this was viewed as a cute easter egg for the upcoming Cyberpunk 2077– however, in the wake of the game getting a new trailer at E3 this year, a fan decided to take Ciri’s description of that other world, and play it over Cyberpunk‘s trailer, and the effect is great.
