Much of Cyberpunk 2077’s marketing has been tied to Microsoft and Xbox since its re-reveal at E3 a couple years ago, and if there’s one thing in life that’s inevitable, it’s that Microsoft will release limited edition controllers (and consoles, if they can help it) themed around major upcoming releases. And indeed, it seems like Cyberpunk 2077 might get that treatment as well.
As spotted by a user on Reddit, South African online retailer Raru put up a listing for a Cyberpunk 2077 limited edition Xbox One controller. The listing has since been taken down, but you can view a screenshot below. There’s no image of the controller in the listing itself. It mentions a price that translates to a little over $90, which is a little steep for a controller, but not outside the realm of possibility (or might not be sold for that much exactly in other regions).
This is, of course, an unverified listing, so take this with a grain of salt. However, Microsoft and CD Projekt RED releasing Cyerpunk 2077-themed limited edition hardware doesn’t seem like too much of a stretch. Either way, stay tuned, and we’ll keep you updated.
Cyberpunk 2077 is out for the PS4, Xbox One, and PC on September 17.
