Cyberpunk 2077 – New Concept Art Showcases Different Aspects of Night City’s Society

These images offer us a glimpse into CD Projekt RED's vision of the cyberpunk genre.

While the screenshots that we’ve seen of Cyberpunk 2077 showcase just how great the game looks visually, we know that fans are still really hyped to see some more gameplay footage. While it’s probably going to be a while before we see that though, in the meantime, we know that fans will take any new details that come their way. To that end, CD Projekt RED have just revealed some concept art for the game, so that we can hyped even more, or at least appreciate the cool artwork, if nothing else.

One of the images revealed shows a man plugged into some kind of VR tech in a dingy room, and what really makes the image is the contrast between the high-end tech and the squalor visible in the entire room. Another image showcases a trio of some really intimidating looking men sitting in the back of a taxi, and it’s clear that they’re on their way to deal some death and destruction. In another image, we see a woman quite literally rearranging her face in front of a mirror as she seems to be getting ready for a night out. There are also some photographs and newspaper  clippings in the background that suggest she is an actor or well-known personality of sorts, and maybe we’ll see more of her story in the game. In the final image, we see a busy streets, and at the centre is a downtrodden-looking man with his dog by his side, and it’s an image that is recognizably in the future but also very much of the present.

If these scenes sound and look familiar to you, it’s because they are- they all depict scenes that we saw in Cyberpunk 2077’s E3 2018 trailer, and these artworks probably internally served as an early representation for what CD Projekt wanted the trailer to look like. You can check out all of the images below. Currently no release window has been revealed for the game, but we can expect it to release, whenever it launches, for the PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
