It’s been a big few days for Cyberpunk 2077, with Update 2.0 having launched last week, significantly improving the base experience’s quality in more ways than one- and of course, there’s still plenty to look forward to. The open world action RPG’s first and only expansion, Phantom Liberty, launches tomorrow- but ahead of its launch, some PlayStation 5 players won’t be able to prepare for it like those on other platforms will.

Taking to Twitter, via its official support page, CD Projekt RED has confirmed that pre-loading for Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty isn’t available on PS5, unlike on other platforms, for those who purchased the bundle that includes both the base game and the expansion. If you did purchase that bundle., the only way to download the expansion will be to claim it from the PlayStation Store once it has unlocked at midnight local time later today. “We apologize for the lack of a pre-load,” the developer writes.

Meanwhile, CDPR warns that the Quadra pre-order bonus may also not be available to PlayStation players at first after launch, though the developer says it’s “working to ensure players receive their bonus as soon as possible.”

In our review of Phantom Liberty, we awarded it a score of 9/10, saying, “Phantom Liberty is what Cyberpunk 2077 should have been three years ago. It’s an incredible expansion that boasts a gripping story, compelling characters, engaging moment-to-moment gameplay, and significantly improved progression mechanics. It’s so good that it uplifts all of Cyberpunk 2077, finally making good on the lofty promises CD Projekt RED made for the base game all those years ago.” Read the full review through here.

Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty launches tomorrow, September 26, for PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC.
