Daemon X Machina

Nintendo has shown off a brand new trailer of Daemon X Machina at Gamescom, the mech action game that Marvelous is working with them on exclusively for the Nintendo Switch. The game, which was originally revealed at E3 a few months ago, has always looked interesting because of its striking style, and because mech action games are awesome, and we don’t get enough of them- so it’s always nice to see more of it.

The Gamescom trailer shows us some gameplay footage, including on-foot gameplay segments. It looks a bit unpolished in terms of framerate, though it should be noted that the game’s still very much in development and by no means finished. Either way, I hope that is something that is addressed ahead of the game’s release next year.

Nintendo has also confirmed via a tweet that Daemon X Machina producer Kenichiro Tsukuda will show off brand new gameplay in a Nintendo Gamescom RedCube presentation on Thursday, so you have that to look forward to as well. Daemon X Machina launches exclusively for the Nintendo Switch in 2019.
