Daemon X Machina

FromSoftware has had their breakout with the ongoing Souls series, and the many games they’ve developed that share that DNA. But a certain subset of their fansbase have been wondering for a long time when Armored Core, the mecha series they were known for before hitting the big time with Souls, will return. Well, unfortunately, it doesn’t seem like we’ll be seeing it soon. But in the meantime, we have a very similar game in Nintendo and Marvelous’ Daemon X Machina. Not only that, it’s going to let you smash your mechas together not long after launch.

At the Nintendo E3 Treehouse, the game was demoed and the game’s director, Kenichiro Tsukuda, said the game would definitely have updates after release, and one of those is competitive multiplayer. You can check out the video below, which talks about that and multiple features that will be in the base game.

Daemon X Machina will release September 13th exclusively on the Nintendo Switch.
