Three guesses on how it ends.

Dark Souls 3

From Software’s Dark Souls 3 is out in Japan (and for the West if you tried a few tricks) and it’s already earning accolades for its difficulty. That doesn’t mean you should forget about its grisly lore and otherwise dark world, as highlighted by Hostel director Eli Roth’s animated short “The Witches”. Viewer discretion is advised.

The short itself may be vaguely familiar to fans of the lore, especially concerning the Giants and the attacks on the city of Lordran. Or something like that. Check it out for yourself.

Dark Souls 3 is currently slated to release on April 12th for Xbox One, PS4 and PC. It’s not the “end” of the series as we once presumed but it could be the last major Souls title for a while. What are your thoughts on the short and the overall history of Dark Souls? Let us know in the comments below and stay tuned for more information.
