A new mod is now out for From Software’s third and final entry in their flagship Dark Souls franchise. Dark Souls 3‘s newest mod takes a leaf out of From Software’s past, and lets you play through the entire game in first person mode, like King’s Quest– you’ll see some floating hands and the like, since the game was not originally designed for a first person viewpoint, but apart from that, it works very well, and pretty much exactly like how you would expect it to work.
You can download it from here– but you should know that if you do, and if you run the mod, then you can’t play the game online, which means any PvP, and even any co-op, is automatically out. Additionally, you’re also going to be best served just backing up your files before you get around to playing the game with the mod enabled- just in case something does go wrong.
Dark Souls 3 is out now on PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
