The PC system requirements for From Software’s Dark Souls 3 have been revealed on Steam. It’s pretty early given that the game is months away from release but it’s helpful all the same.
The most common requirements are a DirectX 11 compliant GPU, broadband connection, 8 GB of RAM and 50 GB of available installation space. Windows 7 SP1 to Windows 10 64-bit are the recommended operating systems.
For the minimum specs, you’ll need at least an AMD A8 3870 3.6 Ghz or Intel Core i3 2100 3.1 Ghz and an Nvidia GeForce GTX 465/ATI Radeon HD 6870. Recommended specs include an AMD FX 8150 3.6 GHz or Intel Core i7 2600 3.4 GHz along with an Nvidia GeForce GTX 750/ATI Radeon HD 7850. Overall, both sets of requirements aren’t too hefty ad should allow the majority of users to experience great performance.
Dark Souls 3 will release on April 12th 2016 for PS4, PC and Xbox One. It’s pegged to be the last game in the Souls series (for now, of course). Will you be picking it up? Let us know in the comments.
