Dark Souls 3

Dark Souls 3 hasn’t even released over here in the west yet, but it’s already on version 1.03 in Japan- this newest patch for the game was released for the Xbox One and PlayStation 4 versions of the game, and it tweaks the gameplay, as well as generally enhancing and boosting the game’s performance.

The gameplay modifications seem to be related to what appear to be a fair few glitches, mostly pertaining to how the bonfires in the game behave when you interact with them. It sounds like a fair few of those exploits have been patched up. Other general ‘balance tweaks’ and ‘performance improvements’ are also listed in the update’s patch notes.

Most likely, this update will be mandatory to download in the west on day one, once Dark Souls 3 finally launches here on April 12. It will be available on the Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC. Stay tuned to GamingBolt for more coverage.
