Developer Cyber Temple took to PC Gaming Show 2025 to unveil its new game – Dark Switch. The game, announced with a trailer, is a strategy game that revolves around the player building a safe haven for their citizens while also building up defenses to ensure that the mysterious Fog can’t get in. Check out the trailer.

Cyber Temple describes Dark Switch as a vertical city builder where players will have to build out their settlement along the boughs of a massive tree. However, throughout the game, players will also have to be careful about the Fog. The vertical style of city building also introduces its own challenges, with players needing to plan out their settlements according to the limited space they have, and even build out transportation systems like zip lines and stairways.

Players can also build out massive towers that can push back the Fog by taking advantage of an energy source known only as Solium. Along with their main base, players can also build out far-outposts to get their hands on rare resources and artifacts.

Dark Switch is coming to PC via Steam and GOG.
