More than a year on from exiting early access on PC, Darkest Dungeon 2 is finally making its way to additional platforms. Developer Red Hook Games announced earlier in the year that the acclaimed roguelike RPG would be releasing for PlayStation consoles in July, and the studio has now added another platform to that release.

At the recent Nintendo Direct presentation, it was announced that Darkest Dungeon 2 will also be releasing for the Nintendo Switch on July 15 alongside its PS5 and PS4 versions. Pre-orders are available now, with a 15 percent discount currently being offered. Those who purchase the game’s Oblivion Edition will also get the game’s DLC, The Binding Blade, in addition to the base experience.

In our review of Darkest Dungeon 2, we awarded it a score of 8/10, saying, “Darkest Dungeon 2 is a wholly different beast from the original, wrapping branching paths and compelling combat into a rogue-lite package. There are some hiccups and it may not appeal to all fans of the original, but it’s still a fun journey to suffer.” Read the full review through here.

Darkest Dungeon 2 is currently available on PC. Alongside PlayStation and Switch, the game was also rated for Xbox consoles in Brazil earlier this year, though it has yet to be officially announced for Microsoft’s consoles. Later this year, Red Hook Studios will also be releasing a new campaign for the game dubbed Kingdoms. Read more on that through here.
