Darkest Dungeon The Crimson Court

Red Hook Studios’ Darkest Dungeon will be releasing on January 18th for the Nintendo Switch’s eShop, retailing for $24.99. Interested players can purchase The Crimson Court and The Shieldbreaker DLC on the same day for $9.99 and $3.99 respectively. Darkest Dungeon will leverage the Switch’s touch screen controls in case that’s something you wanted.

Released in January 2016, Darkest Dungeon rose to fame for its punishing difficulty and macabre theme that takes inspiration from the likes of H.P. Lovecraft. Players are in charge of managing a party of adventurers as they descend into horrifying locations in search of loot.

Assuming they make it out, there will likely be enough mental baggage to fill an airport. These conditions will manifest in different ways but can also be treated back at your base for a bit of money. If you’re familiar with Darkest Dungeon and interested in playing on Switch, keep in mind that the next DLC The Color of Madness will be heading to the platform later.
