Darksiders 2 Abyssal Forge DLC Introduces New Dungeons, New Lands But Same Ol’ Death

Just the way we like 'im.

Darksiders 2, despite it’s less than stellar success, is still receiving a healthy array of support from Vigil Games and THQ. The second DLC pack is title Abyssal Forge, and will include a new area called the Shadow Lands for players to explore. Its swamp-like structure will make for a murky experience, to be sure, but it should be fit for Death’s presence.

Of course, that’s not counting the two new dungeons, brand new enemies and along with the expanded loot, you can be sure of new Legendary loot as well. Of course, keep in mind that Vigil is creating these dungeons for battle-hardened players looking for a new challenge. So you better have “New Game+”ed the original quest by now.

Look out for the Abyssal Forge DLC to arrive on October 30th for XBox 360, PC and PlayStation 3 in North America, where you can download via your usual digital content streams at 800 Microsoft Points or $9.99 USD. The EU will have to wait longer – October 31st – to smell what Death is cooking though.
