Darksiders 2 Wii U Version to Feature “5+ Hours of Additional Gameplay”

First expansion and pre-order bonuses immediately available to Wii U gamers.

Vigil Games might not have met with instantaneous success for THQ’s Darksiders 2, but Death hasn’t been beaten yet. The game is now coming to Nintendo’s Wii U console as part of the launch line-up. To make things even more sumptuous, there will be an additional 5+ hours of gameplay content to go with the original release.

There’s already confirmation that Wii U gamers will have instant access to the Argul’s Tomb expansion as well as every pre-order bonus so far rewarded. What else will Vigil add to an already stuffed game? It bears attention but they’re off to a great start thus far.

Darksiders 2 will integrate the Wii U in interesting ways, including using the touchscreen for inventory management and manipulating the gyro sensor during key gameplay moments. Of course, it will also have the hack-and-slash gameplay we know and love. Here’s hoping it receives the attention it deserves when it releases for Wii U.
