In the Darksiders universe, the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse each have their own demonic steeds by their side. In Darksiders, War had Ruin. In Darksiders 2, Death had Despair. In Darksiders 3, which is out next week, protagonist Fury has Rampage. Check out the trailer showcasing Rampage below, set to “A Horse With No Name” by America.
Meant to reflect the central theme of solitary thoughts in a quiet place, the trailer showcases the relationship between Fury and Rampage. There’s some camaraderie and a more introspective side to Fury that’s interesting to see. Granted, she still has to hunt down the Seven Deadly Sins across a massive world, but some peace and quiet is still possible.
Darksiders 3 is out on November 27th for Xbox One, PS4, and PC. Along with the base game, developer Gunfire Games also has some post-launch DLC in development. The Crucible will see players battle in a PvE arena for rewards, while Keepers of the Void is a new story quest that heads to the Serpent Holes. There’s currently no release date for either.
