The first Darksiders has finally received its remastered version, namely the Warmastered Edition, on Steam, Xbox One and PS4. However, if you happen to own the original game on Steam, then you won’t have to spend any extra for the remaster.
As per THQ Nordic, owners of the first Darksiders will receive the remaster for free in their game library. If you don’t see it in your library, simply restart your Steam client and it should be updated. From there, it should be available to download.
Darksiders Warmastered Edition usually retails for $20 but it’s currently on sale right now for $4. If you decide to pick up the entire franchise, it’s available in a $10 pack that contains Darksiders Warmastered Edition, Darksiders 2 Deathinitive Edition and the OST for Darksiders 2. These offers will only be valid until December 2nd however.
