“There is a gun in [one of the games] and you hold it,” he said to IGN, signifying that it could be a shooter. He absolutely refused to reveal anything else “I’m not telling you”, but did give some clues.
He said that the genre has become a bit stale but he does love it: “I love the genre, but I feel it has been allowed to go a little — well, actually, quite a lot — stale when it comes to moment to moment mechanics.”
We actually have no idea what he’s going to create but this is what he hinted.
“And all the things that I can sit here and passionately discuss and preach to you are absolutely things that I’m thinking about doing if it turns out the game we’re thinking about doing gets made next involves a gun and a person holding a gun.”
I would love to see him tackle a shooting game. Let’s see what crazy ideas he can come up with.
