IMPROVED CUSTOMIZATION AND CRAFTING
Days Gone had customization and progression mechanics, of course, and they were perfectly serviceable- but with a sequel, Sony Bend can think about those mechanics and how they’re integrated into the game more deeply. Having more interesting abilities to unlock and a larger, more diverse skill tree that offers greater freedom for player choice should be a must. On the crafting side of things, being able to craft a greater variety of weapons and mods is something that we can assume will definitely be the case, but something else that we would like to see is being able to craft things for your central base – which we spoke of earlier – or craft different kinds of consumables that grant unique buffs and debuffs, which could also lean more heavily into the scavenging side of things.
