Bend Studio confirmed last year that it was working on a new IP with multiplayer and the open-world systems from Days Gone.
"We are currently working on a new IP that includes multiplayer and builds upon the open-world systems of Days Gone," the developer says.
Bend Studio, which is currently working on a new IP, will host a special live stream to unveil its new logo today at 12 PM/3 PM ET on Twitch.
Sony has provided updated sales figures for its PC releases so far. SIE Bend Studio's Days Gone has sold over 850,000 units on the platform.
It seems likely that SIE Bend Studio's PlayStation and PlayStation Portable shooters will likely be part of the revamped PS Plus' library.
Jeff Ross has confirmed joining the team and said he's "thrilled with the project, and especially the team of really wonderful people."

Sony confirmed recently that Bend Studio was working on a new open world IP, and it seems that game will have a multiplayer component as well.
SIE Bend Studio wanted to make "not only a good PC game in general" but also "a [good] port," says lead designer Eric Jensen.
How does the open world title's PC port fare?
Looks like people really want that sequel.
"If you love a game, buy it at ****ing full price," says creative director John Garvin.

Multi-million projects at larger studios like Naughty Dog, SIE Santa Monica, and Guerrilla Games seem to the priority at PlayStation.
The open world title is releasing for PC later this month.
