Days Gone Will Punish Players For Using Excessive Ammo

Players will have to think twice before going up against enemies.

Days Gone is one of the biggest PS4 exclusives that is due in early 2019. In an interview with the developers, Geoff Keighley asked some questions regarding the gameplay and we’ve received some interesting new details about what the game’s open world will be like.

Keighley asks the developers about the scarcity of resources in the game and how they have managed to make the game difficult without it becoming too frustrating. The developer admits that balancing this was one of the biggest challenges they faced. They then go to say, “We kind of punish the player for using excess ammo by the escalation system.”

The open world in the game is one that will be responsive, so players will have to be careful about how they interact with it. If the player fires too many shots and causes a lot of explosions, then that will just attract the attention of more enemies. This means that the players will have to think twice before engaging with enemies.

Days Gone is set to release exclusively for the PS4.
