Dead or Alive 5 Gets Collector’s Edition for $79.99 USD

Tecmo-Koei and Team Ninja are back with their first major Dead or Alive title since 2005’s Dead or Alive 4. By the looks of things, Dead or Alive 5 has come a long way. And it gets better with the recently announced Collector’s Edition.

For some reason, this has been made exclusive to Gamestop. So you’ll have to go online and order it via the same if you’re interested. Nonetheless, the goods are worth the extra $20.

The Collector’s Edition will feature the game, hardcover art book, a poster of Kasumi (for all those decorators out there), the original soundtrack on CD and downloadable in-game swimsuits for the lovely ladies. All wrapped in a nice steel casing.

The Japanese version seems to go even further, including all this along with eight character post-cards and ten character metal plates.

Dead or Alive 5 is currently slated for release this coming September on XBox 360 and Playstation 3.
