Dead Rising 3 Cinematic Trailer Debuts

A thoroughly badass look at Dead Rising 3

Posted By | On 21st, Aug. 2013

The cinematic trailer for the upcoming installment in the Dead Rising series, Dead Rising 3 Is here, and man oh man is it good. It’s jam packed with zombie gore, creative slaughter, cheesy zombie dialogue and more.

Dead Rising 3 takes place ten years after the events of Dead Rising 2, and centers on a mechanic named Nick Ramos, who must team up with Annie (from the trailer) and others in order to to escape the fictional city of Los Perdidos before they are wiped out in the inevitable military sweep of the area.

Dead Rising 3 will feature many of the classic elements seen in its predecessors, such as creative weaponry, explorative foraging, and plenty of gooey zombie murder. However, Dead Rising 3 will see several updates, the most notable of which is probably the vastly increased map size. The open world environment of Dead Rising 3 will be larger than that of Dead Rising and Dead Rising 2 combined.

Dead Rising 3 will also utilize the Kinect sensor, with noise and movement from the player potentially alerting nearby hoards of zombie to his or her position.

Dead Rising 3 is slated for a November 2013 release.
