Earlier, there was a posted on Neogaf, who supposedly posted the Dead Space 3 Game Informer score. The magazine had given the game a 7.75, which is a fake score, because come on, this is Game Informer we are talking about.

OK, no, they are awesome, but the magazine’s EIC, tweeted that the score that spread rapidly through gaming websites was fake and the reviewer had not given it that score.

Here’s what the fake review had to say about the game:

The Neogaf source mentioned that it had a “satisfying shooting and loveable new weapon crafting system”, some parts of the game are apparently not as polished as the previous two entries.

“The “general atmosphere of the game is not nearly as creepy and terrifying as previous games” with the human fights feeling tacked on and badly played out. The co-op and replay value were said to be a bit underwhelming too.

So yes, this is fake, and the real reviews will come out on the release date, so please don’t fall for terrible rumours.
