Dead Space 3 PC Version Will Have No High Resolution Textures And Graphical Enhancements

Disappointing.

In an age where almost every major publisher is supporting the PC platform to the fullest, Visceral Games are apparently doing the opposite.

According to a report by Games On, the PC version of Dead Space 3 will be a straight forward console port. This is a bit disappointing as the PC platform is far more capable than it’s console counterparts. This obviously means there will be no DX 11 support, no high resolution textures, no draw distance options and ye you got it right…it will be as good as the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 versions.

Apparently, the developers had time to include Kinect functionality, yet somehow they couldn’t support the PC to the fullest.

I hope the gameplay will be able to surpass the previous two Dead Space games. Visceral Games are trying out a couple of new things with the third iteration, so lets hope it results in to something positive.

The game is due to release next month.

What do you think about the lack of support for the PC version? Let us know in the comments section below.
