With Dead Space getting its highly-anticipated launch in January, the time for EA to kick its marketing into gear is coming soon. Reports have suggested that new details and gameplay footage will be coming sometime this month, while the remake’s developers at Motive Studio also recently unveiled new information on the title. On top of that, it also seems like the game will be getting its first proper trailer soon enough as well.

Motive Studio recently published a rather cryptic tweet containing an image showing a collection of mysterious shapes, and of course, it wasn’t long before people were able to figure out that the image is part of a QR code. The QR code in turn leads to an Instagram account – thebench – and the story for that page is showcasing a teaser.

That teaser, short as it is, confirms that the Dead Space remake is finally getting its gameplay reveal on October 4, in a couple days’ time. Check out the teaser below, courtesy of MP1st.

Dead Space is due out on January 27 for PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC.
