Deadly Premonition 2

Rising Star Games and Toybox Games have announced a release date for Deadly Premonition 2: A Blessing in Disguise. It’s out on July 10th for the Nintendo Switch and will retail for $49.99 with both physical and digital releases. Check out the latest snazzy trailer below, which is more like the opening credits for a TV show.

Though it’s a sequel, Deadly Premonition 2 also functions as a prequel. Players will control Agents Davis and Jones as they investigate the murders that took place in Le Carre. While this is happening in present day, it’s possible to travel back in time to experience the memories of Agent York from the first game.

Much like its predecessor, players can explore the town of Le Carre and even have the option to use a skateboard for the same. This opens up a new Skateboard Challenge mini-game but you can also partake in bowling, a bayou ride and more. Character customization and upgrades have also been promised though in what form is unknown.
