Death Stranding’s Story Is Too Elaborate For Madds Mikkelsen To Follow

Sounds exactly like what you'd expect.

Hideo Kojima’s stories for his games are known for being ridiculously complex and dense. They’re great stories, at least for games, but there’s just so much nuance and intricacy packed into them. So it should come as no surprise to any fan that Kojima’s penchant for complicated stories shall continue even with Death Stranding, his upcoming action game.

Speaking at the Saudi Comic Con in Jeddah, actor Mads Mikkelsen, who is starring in the game, said that when he attempted to understand the story of Death Stranding, he got lost because of how elaborate it all was. He did say, however, that we he did understand was very interesting, and that he wants to know more about it.

So, Kojima fans- don’t worry, Kojima’s wacky antics and dense storytelling aren’t tied exclusively to Metal Gear. You’ll get all of that with Death Stranding too. I look forward to the crazy fan theories in the coming years.
