DECAPOLICE

Level-5 grabbed a fair few headlines with the announcement of Professor Layton and The New World of Steam at the recent Nintendo Direct presentation, but while the long-awaited comeback of the beloved puzzle adventure series is obviously the developer’s most high profile reveal in recent memory, it did have other things to show at the showcase as well.

One game in particular that caught the eye was DECAPOLICE, a new open world RPG set in a crime-ridden city, with players playing as a rookie detective who goes around investigating crimes and regularly jump back and forth between the real world and the virtual world. Check out the announcement trailer below for more details.

DECAPOLICE is set to launch globally sometime this year for Nintendo Switch, PS5, and PS4. There’s no word yet on when exactly it will release, or whether Level-5 intends to eventually bring the game to Xbox and PC as well.
