Deep Down Trademarked By Capcom Again

Deep down we know this means nothing.

Remember Deep Down? Maybe, barely, a little? It was that excellent looking action RPG that Capcom showed off during the PS4’s reveal event, that never actually released. Capcom would show it one more time after that, but nothing came of it, and four years later, I am sure most, if not all, of us have given up hope on anything ever coming out of it.

Well, Capcom, it seems, has not. They have gone ahead and re-registered a trademark for Deep Down in the US, which… well, why would they do that? Do they still intend to launch the game at some point in the future? Will Deep Down in fact be revealed at E3 this year, or maybe TGS? Or is this just one of those trademark registrations that are done without anything ever actually coming of them?

If Deep Down still exists, is it still a PS4 exclusive? Or will it come to Xbox One, PC, and Nintendo Switch too? So many questions- hopefully they are all answered soon!
