Deep Silver and Sixteen Tons Entertainment have announced that they are working on a new game in the Emergency franchise, called Emergency 2013.
It’s actually an expansion pack for the previous game, Emergency 2012, and adds four new missions to the said game’s campaign via downloadable packs. Deep Silver describes those four missions as follows: “A large volcano is about to erupt – all over Europe, magma currents must be diverted. The rescue workers need to deal with forest fires, eruptions, toxic gases, and outraged citizens in order to protect the life-saving drillings.”
Emergency 2013 will be released as DLC via digital distributors such as Steam and GamersGate. A retail edition with the new campaign and contents of Emergency 2012 Deluxe will also be released.
The DLC comes out on November 9th this year.
