Deep Silver Bringing Killer Is Dead to PC

It's called Killer is Dead: Nightmare Edition.

Killer is Dead: Nightmare Edition is the name of the upcoming PC port of Killer Is Dead, auteur game developer Suda51’s latest flawed masterpiece.

Due out on May 9 2014, the game will feature extra content exclusive to the PC version upon release, and will be priced at just $20.

The additional content includes a new difficulty mode called nightmare mode, in which enemies can only be defeated using the following attacks: Adrenaline Burst, Dodge Burst, Headshots, so the gameplay requires far more skill and tactics. Players will not be able to use the Final Judgement finisher QTE mode to defeat enemies.

Other additional content includes a theater mode to rewatch the game’s cutscenes at will, along with a Smooth Operator Pack, that can be unlocked after completing Chapter 3.

At this much cheaper price, and with the PC crowd, which is much more inclined to play games that don’t fall under the definition of traditional console AAA gaming, the title should probably manage to find a better, warmer reception.
