Deliver Us Mars 6

KeokeN Interactive’s sci-fi adventure game Deliver Us Mars made a strong first impression with its recent announcement, with the game promising some significant improvements over its predecessor Deliver Us the Moon in a number of areas. Following on from its announcement, KeokeN Interactive has now also released the first developer diary for the game, offering more glimpses of its story and development.

Deliver Us Mars takes place ten years after Deliver Us the Moon and follows the Zephyre Crew as it takes off to find out what is going on on the titular red planet after a secret distress signal originated there gets transmitted to them. The game centers around a team of astronauts who are tasked with going to Mars to retrieve a technology that can help revitalize the dying Earth in the game.

The dev diary also showcases the motion capture process as part of the game’s development, while also sharing new tidbits on the new traversal system, a new character control and climbing system, and a new puzzle system. Merlin Woudstra, the lead game designer, also confirms that there will be new mechanics alongside various diverse environments, with the team trying to make the experience as authentic as possible.

Deliver Us Mars is in development for PS5, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
