THQ Nordic’s Desperados 3 is out later this month and sees the return of the series’ tactical stealth-meets-Wild West gameplay. In its latest intriguing bit of marketing, the publisher has released an atmospheric trailer shot with miniatures. Check it out below, along with a trailer that goes behind-the-scenes with its making.

Taking place before the first game and developed by Mimimi Games (of Shadow Tactics: Blades of the Shogun fame), the player controls John Cooper. Eventually, other characters like Doc McCoy, Isabelle Moreau and many more will join you, adding their own abilities to your repertoire. The name of the game is stealth so analyzing view cones and gunfire noise to plan your approach is required.

Then again, you could go into missions guns blazing, as the latest interactive trailer showcased. Don’t expect to make it out alive or unscathed though. Desperados 3 releases on June 16th for Xbox One, PS4 and PC. Stay tuned for more details en route to its launch.
