The Destiny franchise is full to the brim of deep, interesting lore, as is typical of a Bungie property, and with the launch of Destiny 2 getting closer, fans have been delving into this lore to figure out how the narrative in the upcoming game might unfold. A fan theory has surfaced on Reddit, written by user Jofamo, and if its responses and upvotes are anything to go by, it seems like it’s a pretty popular one.
The theory suggests that in Destiny 2, we will be fighting alongside certified bad guys known as The Fallen. Why? Well, it basically involves their allegiances towards the Traveller, and the fight between the Cabal and Earth. Basically, if the Cabal attack the Traveller and The Fallen see humans defending it, they will obviously end up defending it by our side.
