Destiny 2 Forsaken

The upcoming expansion for Destiny 2, called Forsaken, is set to be released on September 4, and a lot of details have been revealed about the game as part of Game Informer’s recent coverage of the game. The expansion will be bringing nine new super abilities, and each of these will be quite unique.

Game Informer has now released a new video which showcases all of the different super abilities, and also offers us insight into reasons behind why the developers chose these particular abilities. The goal was to see what the mechanical goals was for each subclass are, to see what they are missing, and to then try and address this with the addition of the new abilities. It certainly looks like these new abilities are going to significantly power up the subclasses and offer new ways to play each of them. Keep in mind that each of the subclass trees will first have to be unlocked, and some of them will not be available from day one of the expansion’s release.
