Destiny 2 has been out for about a month now, and as a lot of us may have expected, players have been coming across a number of bugs, owing to the large online structure of the game. One of these bugs, though, has become quite well known, and is perhaps among the worst, thanks to the fact that it can even make the game crash altogether.
That is, of course, the tower bug. People playing the PS4 version of Destiny 2 have been facing this problem quite a lot, and as per a post on Reddit, it’s gotten even worse since the last update. As per the post, the game crashes whenever you try to enter the Tower, the game freezes and hangs, although this issue only seems to be affecting some players, not all. Judging by the numbers of replies and upvotes on the post, and by the number of reports we’ve seen from players in general, this issue seems to be quite a big one.
As per the post on Reddit, the issue isn’t exclusive to the Tower either, and some players’ games can even crash in the middle of raids. Bungie have acknowledged this issue in the past, asking people to “stay tuned”, however there has been no other update from them, and it seems like the problem is only getting worse.
