Destiny 2: The Final Shape Will be Showcased on April 9

Destiny 2 The Final Shape

Developer Bungie has revealed that it will be showcasing the next expansion for Destiny 2, The Final Shape, on April 9. The showcase will be followed by the release of the launch trailer for Destiny 2: Into the Light.

Leading into Destiny 2‘s Into the Light update, Bungie recently revealed the new Hall of Champions social space that would be coming to the game, as well as the new armor that players would be able to earn.

Players will be able to access quests by Shaxx to earn BRAVE weapons. There will also be new bounties available through Arcite 99-40 that will allow players to increases Shaxx’s Hype—the new reputation meter. Ranking up in the Shaxx’s Hype will let players earn a “special” armor set, as well as Trophies of Bravery.

The studio also recently revealed that the BRAVE weapons will still be available through Onslaught, which would have a dedicated node in the Vanguard Ops Playlist, once Destiny 2: The Final Shape launches.

Destiny 2‘s next expansion is slated for release on June 4, and will be coming to PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
