Destiny 2: The Witch Queen Exotics Seemingly Leaked Through Ads

While Bungie has been tight-lipped about the exotics being offered to the players with the release of the upcoming The Witch Queen Expansion for Destiny 2, it seems they might've leaked them themselves accidentally.

Destiny 2 The Witch Queen

Bungie’s Destiny 2 has had a very turbulent timeline, but for the most part, over the last couple of years, the game has been steadily doing well with periodic expansion releases, content updates, and more. While a new expansion for the game, called The Witch Queen is set to release on February 22, it seems the marketing for the expansion might’ve leaked some of its upcoming content.

Posted on the Destiny subreddit by a user, Bungie has been running ads for the upcoming Destiny 2 expansion via Google Ad-Sense. Well, it seems the same ads might’ve leaked the exotics from the upcoming expansion accidentally. It is not yet known if the weapons shown in action are exotics planned for the release, as Bungie has been pretty tight-lipped about it. Judging by their unique animations, and the way they unleash attacks, however, it does feel like so.

Bungie is yet to confirm anything in regards to the leak, but it is likely that the leak holds some sort of weight. Regardless, the upcoming expansion for Destiny 2 is adding in quite a lot of things with its expansion- read more on that through here.

In related news, Sony has announced that it is acquiring Bungie– though Destiny 2 is going to remain multiplatform.
