Xur has returned to Bungie’s Destiny 2, carrying some familiar Exotics. He can be found in the Winding Cove in the European Dead Zone and will remain there until the next weekly reset. This week’s Exotic weapon is Telesto, a special Energy fusion rifle.
Costing 29 Legendary Shards, it’s signature perk is firing Void bolts that detonate after a short period of time (a la Halo’s famous Needler). When netting multi-kills, Kinetic and Energy weapons are automatically reloaded from reserves. It’s nothing too crazy but with the right mods, it’s possible to use Telesto like a pseudo-Primary weapon.
The Exotic gear this week includes Sealed Ahamkara Grasps (Hunter gloves), Antaeus Wards (Titan boots) and Getaway Artist (Warlock gloves), each for 23 Legendary Shards. Sealed Ahamkara Grasps will reload your currently equipped weapon when dealing melee damage. Antaeus Wards will allow for reflecting projectiles when sliding after sprinting for a brief time. Finally, Getaway Artist creates a stronger version of Arc Soul and pairs very well with No Time to Explain.
