Bungie’s most recent live-stream for Destiny’s final live event Age of Triumph showcased some of the new armour Ornaments that players can expect to earn from completing weekly raid challenges.
Interestingly enough, Ornaments earned from the Crota’s End raid can be applied to Vault of Glass armour. Crota’s End armour has also been changed so that it visually regenerates after you stop taking damage. Ditto for the new King’s Fall armour, which briefly stops glowing when you take damage. If that weren’t enough, Wrath of the Machine will have new armour Ornaments to make gear appear more SIVA-esque.
There will also be an Age of Triumph armour set that can be earned with its own Ornaments and Chroma. Weapons Ornaments for Lord of Wolves, Dragon’s Breath and SUROS were also showcased. It should be noted that the questline you get from the Speaker will grant you only class items from the Age of Triumph armour set.
If that weren’t enough, next week’s update will finally see sidearms changed to keep only one magazine of ammo each time the player spawns. Special ammo crates will also reveal your magazine automatically. No Land Beyond will also be nerfed, possessing the same flinch as other sniper rifles.
